Sensor Product Engineer: Contract Consultant
I am working with the developed of ammonia/ NOx sensors for ammonia-based
SCR diesel exhaust systems internal components and element. Working with
multi-layered ceramic components that involves some highly specialized
materials including platinum, modified stainless steel, zirconia, and
alumina. Working and documenting the different processes and testing that
are involved in the manufacturing of the layered element and the ammonia
sensor itself. Understanding how temperature and control timming can
impact the tapping, lamination, drying, sintering of the ammonia sensor
element. Interpreting output from various engineering analysis and tests
done in a lab envirronment, dyno, or abroad. Use Outlook, Microsoft's
Excel, Powerpoint, and Paint.
Worked on a military program, in developing the next generation diesel
powertrain sub-systems. I work with suppliers and the military customers.
Mechanical, Transmission and Engine mount, components, fuel, design and

Help client is conducting due diligence research on the Medium, Heavy,
Severe, Class 4 thru Class 11big trucks and manufacturing of trucks,
engines, recreational vehicles and services parts. Aide them in
understanding the demand for diesel products and how its commercial cost
structure and engineering capability should hold to competitors in a more
cost conscious environment. Explain the difference to use Exhaust Gas
Circulation (EGR) verses Selective Catalytic Reduction (SCR) engines to
meet 2010 US EPA and 2014 US EPA emissions regulations for its trucks.
SCR reduces NOx emissions to very low levels, while at the same time
delivering excellent fuel economy and reliability. The system doesn't
change the design or operation of the basic engine. Explain the effort
that is required with the development of designs and packaging of
components for powertrain and chassis. Explain what federal regulations
that need to be included for diesel particulate devices filter (DPF), fuel
systems, SCR ammonia systems, and NVH.
Help clients gauge the demand for EGRs and understand the benefits and
