Oversees operations for Norred's uniformed guard division which includes
accounts in the metro Atlanta area, Florida, Alabama, Mississippi, and
Tennessee. Interviews, hires and trains candidates for armed and
unarmed positions. Investigates backgrounds of potential candidates as a
part of the hiring process. Collaborates with Zone Managers to understand
staffing needs at client sites, and then ensures those needs are filled
with qualified candidates. Manages uniform budget and inventory, and also
manages inventory for other company property, such as pagers and cell
phones. Responsible for all aspects of the training and certification of
candidates for Norred's armed guard force in accordance with standards
issued by the state of Georgia's Board of Pardons and Paroles. Reports

Also, provides ongoing supplemental training to present Norred Security
Officers, Account Managers, and Zone Managers. Visits client sites to
provide on-the-job training to Norred Officers. Meets with clients to
confirm whether current training being provided to the new Security
Officers is adequately meeting the needs for their establishment. Also,
meets with clients to understand and keep abreast of any new or upcoming
policies and procedures that will need to be enforced by Norred Officers.
Manages the uniform and accessory inventory, and responsible for
outfitting all 350 Norred Officers serving the Atlanta metro area.
Manages the budget and approves all uniform and accessory spending, and
maintains healthy supplier relationships. As a member of the Norred &
Associates Senior Leadership Team, reports weekly to CEO and President on
training and new hire progress by providing statistical information on
training key performance indicators, such as results with test scores,
substance abuse testing, and background and investigative checks. Makes
routine assignment recommendations to the Senior Leadership Team, and
identifies potential management talent for the Leadership Team.
Identifies and suggests procedural changes to current polices pertaining to
training, and then incorporates those new procedures into future training
classes.
