Professional Experience
Dresden School District, Hanover, NH Aug 2007- January 2008
French teacher for levels 2 and 3. My goal is to develop the students'
abilities in French. The emphasis is put on the four basic skills of
listening, speaking, reading and writing. These are motivated learners who
enjoy being challenged. In order to share the rich culture of my country,
amongst various projects, I also trained the students to a poetry contest
and they studied classical and modern authors.
This outstanding school has moved to a newly renovated building, and the
teachers are given all the necessary tools to use the latest technology, in
order to teach in a perfect classroom setting.
The district conducts evaluations in order for the teachers to constantly
review and enhance their existing goals and benchmarks.

following the assignments left by the absent teacher.

students' levels and personalities inside the same district, and to learn
about the different ways that each teacher conducts his/her instructional
skills.
Rivendell Academy. Orford, NH Aug. 2002 - June 2003
Spanish High School teacher for beginner and advanced levels. The
curriculum is based on the ability for students to become comfortable with
the language and practice it orally. This is then reinforced with written
assignments linked to grammar lessons introduced in class. Since this rural
Interstate school is un-tracked, it is constantly necessary to
differentiate the instruction, customize the teaching methods to the very
different levels the students have to offer. This includes project based
learning.
Students are also exposed to the Spanish culture with a wide variety of
activities such as the creation of a storybook for young learners, an
international dinner or internet research projects.
Collaboration with other teachers on sharing the best practices and lessons
learned is highly recommended by the district.
Bishop McDevitt High School. Philadelphia, PA Sept. 98 to June 2002

Culture with a wide variety of activities such as a trip to New York, a
French theater play at a local theater, a French dining experience or

The World Language Department is vibrant in this school, which allows the
students to develop strong language skills, and also cross cultural
awareness.
The school conducts rigorous and comprehensive evaluations to determine if
the overall school objectives are being accomplished.
