objective & background
I would like to obtain a professional position in
architectural, civil, and/or mechanical drafting
while pursuing my AA degree in engineering. I have
been working as a Mechanical Drafter/Engineer for
over 7 years utilizing AutoCAD 2010 and Autodesk
INVENTOR 11. I have also worked as a Civil
Drafter/Engineer for 1 year utilizing AutoCAD. I am
also familiar with and have used Solidworks 2010
and Pro/E Wildfire 4.0 for many of my most recent
projects. I have helped design and engineer
faucetry parts, medical devices, high-speed
packaging machines, traffic signal plans, signing
and striping plans, and traffic control plans for
many Counties, Cities, and Towns in Southern
California and have made all drawings pertaining to
them.

Mechanical Drafter/Engineer
Used Pro/E Wildfire 4.0 for all new prototype
concepts and ideas.
Used Solidworks 2010 to create new 3D part drawings
from AutoCAD.
Applied AutoCAD 2010 for any revisions on future
parts.
Organized and managed all document-related
activities, including: assigning, tracking, and rev
level control of all new and current released and
engineering documents; design and management of
document control database; and document rev level
status.
Interacted with engineering, operations, and
clients to ensure proper document formatting is
performed on all new documentation and that all
documentation is in place prior to manufacturing
release.

Mechanical Drafter/Engineer
Took all existing 2D AutoCAD drawings and converted
them to 3D using AutoDesk INVENTOR 11.
Used the new 3D part drawings to make entire
assemblies with B.O.M. (Bill of Materials) and
balloons highlighting each different part.
Applied AutoCAD 2008 for any new 2D prototype
parts.

Signal, Signing and Striping, and Traffic Control
plans using AutoCAD 2007.
