PRN position for routine nuclear medicine as well as PET. I also
take night and weekend call for emergency studies where I
independently alter a procedure's protocol when necessary. Extensive
venipucture experience. Prepare, administer, and measure radioactive
isotopes in therapeutic, diagnostic, and tracer studies utilizing a
variety of radioisotope equipment. Maintain HIPPA guidelines and
patient rights, as well as radiation safety and JCAHO standards.
Perform all aspects of quality control on equipment. Provide the
highest level of patient care.
Student, Various Clinical Sites, Augusta, GA 2008 - 2010
Student clinical rotations throughout Augusta healthcare facilities
including Eisenhower, the VA Hospital, MCG, and University Hospital,
averaging 20-35 hours per week. Included rotations through routine
nuclear medicine, nuclear cardiology, PET, PET/CT, nuclear pharmacy,
and CT. Became proficient with multiple camera systems and
processing software.
