Responsibilities include:
> Prepare all logistical requirements for a high volume number of
meetings/events from start to finish including education, human
resources, pharmaceutical, sales training, incentive, mid-management,
VIP's and CEO's for both Associations and Corporations.
> Budget and contract for services with all vendors and suppliers. Re-
negotiate contracts when necessary. Manage 50 - 70 meetings/events,
research and recommend sites, negotiate, purchase and finalize 50 -
100 contracts annually, set and adhere to budget, reduce operating
costs, determine logistical, audio visual and food & beverage
requirements, prepare meetings & events specifications, oversee
registration process, speaker/exhibitor/ground transportation
coordination, assist with agenda/program development, on-site
management, prepare all post meetings/events reports with management
of all reports, oversee billing process, follow-up with satisfaction
surveys, establish and maintain successful relationships with
hoteliers, vendors and meetings/events service providers.
> Provide a successful standardized process that involves
purchasing/sourcing venue space, negotiating contracts that offers
systematization and leverage in terms of buying power.
> Assist in preparing promotional materials. Design
guidelines/procedures to standardize planning process including
timelines.
> Research, design and cost proposals to operate European & USA
companies' meetings/incentive and tour needs inbound to Chicago and
the USA.
