Project Details:

Client: Exim Overseas, Mumbai

Role: Software Programmer/Tester

Date: October 2008 to March 2010

Description: The financial application is shared between HSBC Bank, Call

centers and Collection centers for customer services. This application

covers entry of Cash-In, Cash-out, Loan approvals, and Financial Cash-flow

statements, Credit Cards, Personal Loans, Mortgage Loan Access and

repayments. Defaulters are forwarded collection center for collections.

Responsibilities:

. Created tables, stored procedures in Oracle Database.

. Created detailed test cases according to business requirements and

functional requirements.

. Interacted with business analysts, developers and cross functional

teams. Involved in creation of test strategy documents for both manual

testing.

. Involved in the Unit testing of the application.

. Involved in the team meetings to discuss the issues and problems

. Verifying the data integrity by writing SQL queries.

. Responsible for analyzing reports and following up defects.

. Conducted system, UAT and regression testing, debugged the software

errors, and interacted with developers to resolve technical issues.

Description: The objective of the Golden Source is to provide an integrated

enterprise data management (EDM) platform for the securities and investment

management industry.

Responsibilities:

. Interact with Project Manager, Business Analyst and QA team

consistently to meet the Project requirements.

. Create internal Mapping Specification file which helps populating the

raw vendor data into normalized database.

. Write complex queries for retrieving data from the database

. Extensive knowledge of Vendor Data like Bloomberg, Telekurs among

others.

. Use of anthill as interface for day to day operations.

. Interact with testing team and clarify their doubts regarding any

issues in testing against the requirements.

. Presentation and demo of the entire application.

. To develop connection (Interface) to upload Vendor Data (Bloomberg,

Telekurs, Fidelity Reuters, Swift etc.)

. Prioritized outstanding defects and system problems, ensuring accuracy

and deadlines were met.
