Description:

The RLIC - Reliance Life Insurance Company: Project requirement

is to maintain Datastage application, enhance the existing Jobs,

fulfilling new requirements for Virtual Office (VO: Web utility) and

their applications.

Project deals with Individual Life and Group Insurance. As part of a

larger vision of hosting a single point web utility for various users

(Sales Manager, Agents and Customers) in their insurance business,

RLIC has initiated a phased implementation of different types of

reports on its Virtual Office portal. The Data from various sources

collected into Oracle using Datastage.

This ETL mapping will be scheduled to run daily once.

Responsibilities:

. Worked on Websphere Datastage 8.0.1-(Designer, Director and

Datastage Admin) in the development of Datastage Jobs.

. Downloading CSV files from Life Asia Server to local machine by

using iSeries.

. By performing FTP, CSV files will be moved from local machine to

Datastage Server

. Responsible in extracting data from CSV, MSAccess and SQL Server to

Oracle database

. Monitoring the job performance and logs.

Description:

Edmundson Electrical Incorporation is one of the first

suppliers of electricity to being the leading distributor of electrical

equipment to trade and industry in the UK. They serve the country from

over 400 branches with experienced and highly motivated staff.

This Proof of Concept was designed and developed in such a

way to generate reports to understand the growth rate of Order, Sales

and Inventory. It also includes product wise analysis, Geographical

wise analysis and Time based analysis, which is a key aspect of this

project. A report generated by this warehouse helps the management to

study and analyze the business status.

Description:

This Project "Functional Advanced Basel II Data Repository" is to

create a Repository to calculate the Basel outputs for each exposure

within Corporate Markets. The Scope of this Project is divided into

three Iterations,

Iteration 1: The first iteration deals with maintenance of regulatory

capital calculated for three major components of risk that a bank

faces: Credit Risk (the scope of project), Operational Risk and Market

Risk.

Iteration 2: The second iteration deals with the regulatory response to

the first pillar, It also provides a framework for dealing with all the

other risks a bank may face.

Iteration 3: The third iteration greatly increases the disclosures that

the bank must make.
