Dear Erik Langdon,

I am writing with regards to your ad wanting a level designer, posted on

gamasutra.com, and am interested in filling this position and contributing

to your already stellar record of game creation. Level creation has been in

my blood ever since Starcraft came out for the PC way back in the 90's. I

excel at many of the required skills to be a Level Designer, and am more

than willing to learn the skills I lack from a more senior member of the

team. I consistently strive to create games so fun, and addictive, that

the players will want come back time and time again to gain their "fix".

Experience is my middle name when it comes to level design tools,

such as Starcraft World Editor, Company of Heroes World Builder, Unreal

Tournament Level Creator, Unreal Developer Kit, Command and Conquer: Red

Alert World Builder, and many others. Examples can be provided upon

request. I strive to cover every minute detail possible. I have been a

team-player ever since I was born. The way my life is conducted, many

others look to me for advice, support, and help on an almost daily basis. I

love feedback, everything I create I ask others for their opinions. Ideally

this helps to improve upon my own, though this necessarily hasn't been the

case 100% of the time.

allocation, designing the game, poster design in Adobe Photoshop/

Illustrator, meeting deadlines, making up for others who slack, designing

level idea in 3D Studio Max, recording voice overs and creating music in

Adobe Audition.
