Prettl Automotive Electric Greenville, South Carolina- July 2009 to Present
Sales and Marketing NAFTA - Electrical and Electrical Mechanical Customers-
Primary focus is with in the Tier One supply base and as required the OEM's
Develop new business and product opportunities within the current supply
base, develop new customers, Reduce the reliance with our largest
customers identify our business cycles and timing, establish a new sales
base line and build a Detroit team and office.
In the short time I have been with Prettl I have been successful in
identifying key customers, new markets, new product opportunities and
establish top relationships with in the Tier One's, currently we are
actively quoting $25 Million dollars in new business.
JAC Products - Pontiac, Michigan - from September 1991 to December 2008
Business Development Manager/ Account Manager - Asian and European
Customers - Roof Racks, Exterior and Interior Trim and non Automotive
Components
As the sole business development manager at JAC Products reporting directly
to the V.P. of sales I played the lead role in transforming the company
from a small $30 million dollar a year business to $220 million. All while
maintaining a focus on our core products but also moving JAC products into
different products, markets and customers. During the last 4 years I was
able to change the profile of JAC Products from a company reliant on the
traditional big three automakers to 80 % of the sales revenue is now from
Asian and European automakers including booking $20 million in new business
in 2008. My strongest relationships and global networks continue to be at
Toyota, Honda, Subaru, Mazda, Nissan, Mobis, Hyundai, Kia, BMW and Daimler.
My role included managing three different outside sales firms with offices
located throughout N.A., Korea and Japan, marketing JAC Products as a
company with a global foot print, long term planning and forecasting across
all regions by using our own intelligence network and working with J.D.
Powers and CSM directly. This role included an insight into new trends in
products, designs, manufacturing techniques and incorporating them into our
plan and our customers.
Prior to becoming a business development manager I was a program manager,
bringing to JAC Products the foundation of the current corporate program
management system currently in place. As a program manager I was able to
manage and launch some of the most complex and shortest lead time programs
in the company history. Even in the role of business development I assumed
the program manager responsibility on many occasions to support our
customer's requirements and providing relief in troubled situations.
Through my career development I have been able to maintain solid skills in
Microsoft products including Project.

Form, Stamping (large and small), Fabrication, Aluminum Extrusion, Die
Casting, prototyping etc.
