Worked as a Tester on Web-based e-commerce application accessed by
potential customers, who buy books online developed by Barnes & Noble.com.
The online bookstore is created using Java, HTML and Oracle. It enables
potential customers to execute Quick Searches (using Title, Author, etc.),
and Advanced Searches (using Title, Author by Last & First names, ISBN,
etc.) helping them to decide on the books they would like to buy online.
Once the customer's account is created/verified, the customers enter the
Credit Card information, which is then processed securely, followed by
confirmation of the placed order. The application facilitates the users to
browse books from different categories like 'Bestsellers', 'Kids', etc.
along with providing information of the latest events and happenings in the
publishing world.
