Managing GE Capital-Real Estate's Mexico Debt and Equity portfolio

activities by leading all aspects of environmental health and safety due

diligence, providing recommendations to business and environmental leaders

for the containment of identified risks in the context of the legal

structure of a given transaction. Liaison with environmental legal counsel,

business and Corporate Environmental Programs to ensure (a) early reads on

training plan for 40 plus industrial facilities in Mexico by ensuring

chemical and physical hazards are minimized and proper programs and

preventive measures are implemented to maintain employee exposure to work

practice programs including, hazardous material, noise and hearing

conservation, radiation management, air sampling plan, hazard

Qualifications

. Bachelors degree in chemical engineering by the University of

Chihuahua

. Industrial Hygiene graduate program by University of Michigan

. 17 years of experience in the environmental health and safety field

involving industrial sites EHS management (ISO 14001, PROFEPA

Industria Limpia, Compliance, Labor Department STPS requirements,

Pollution Prevention, H&S management and culture change)

. Environmental impacts investigations and remediation

. Emergency response systems implementation leader

. Strong written and oral English/Spanish communication skills

. Conceptual thinking in order to grasp and mitigate environmental

concerns within a complex business real estate transactions

. Experience in working in a fast-paced / high pressured transaction /

acquisition business environment.
