Work Experience:

Stork EWT May 2009 to Present

. Lead engineer for test setup/validation/debug of instrumentation for

all sensors/transducers. This includes flow, position, pressure,

temperature, and strain. Provide controls for motors, heaters, pumps,

valves, actuators, servos and chambers including PID controls of

linear systems. Develop the software and user interfaces necessary to

automate test processes.

. Manage testing budget of 500K annually

. Develop new and maintain existing data acquisition systems.

. Construct test setups for aerospace and hydraulic

conformance/certification testing.

. Instruct Technicians on work assignments and advise Test Engineers on

best practices.

Motorola 1994 - 2009

. Test and integrate low level drivers and I/O software components into

products. Designed and specified I/O interfaces to micro-controllers.

. Developed automated tools for user interface testing of products using

C++ and Java programming.

. Developed Test Plans for system testing of cellular phone products.

. Developed and maintained lab test systems for communication protocol

stacks, RF performance and audio compliance testing. This included

GPIB and Serial interfaces to control equipment and devices under

test.

. Developed functional test systems (both hardware and software) for

manufacturing using pc based controllers and GPIB, VXI, A/D, GPIO,

DMM, Matrix switches and other types of instrumentation. Interfaced

multiple serial communication protocols to devices under test for data

acquisition.

. Product development engineer on Honda Accord engine controller. Was

responsible for all design aspects of EMI compatibility and PCB

layout.

. Performed SAE testing; load dumps, EMI, ESD, thermal, vibration, and

other conformance testing.

DAI Technologies 1991 - 1994

. Created custom prototype installations (sensor/control placement, wire

harnesses, and fuel induction) for engine control system.

. Performed airflow, emissions, ignition, load-cell/strain and engine

senor data acquisition and analysis.

Kohler Company - Engine/Generator Divisions 1984 - 1991

. Employed as a test technician and earned my engineering degree in

night school.

. Performed in-house equipment calibration.

. Setup engine and generator-set test stands and acquired/analyzed data.

. Designed generator voltage regulators and engine speed governors.
