Sr. Manager - Global Environmental Affairs
Complete responsibility for managing company's global environmental
activities. Prepared Capex and Opex budgets; published "Environmental
Bulletins and Policy Guidelines," mentored and trained internal personnel
on environmental and safety issues, including 8 regional EHS managers, 50+
local EHS coordinators; also managed outside attorneys and consultants;
designed environmental audit and reporting modules; ensured compliance with
air, water and waste regulations, and tracked regulatory impacts and
permits via a web-based, digitized database.
. Compliance Assurance. Developed first corporate-wide compliance assurance
program for operating platforms, such as manufacturing plants, large-
scale drilling maintenance facilities and commercial properties, on 6

implemented global EHS plans and operating blueprints, including

organization structures. Also designed Brownfield development finance
model. Clients included automotive manufacturers, real estate developers
and energy companies.

Senior Manager of Worldwide Facilities Group - Environmental Services
Staff, held responsibility for developing new programs to increase team
efficiency and maintain regulatory compliance while supporting major
corporate cost-savings initiatives. Oversaw 3 direct reports and 26 project
and program managers on dotted line basis.
. Conducted benchmarking sessions with Fortune 100 companies covering
multiple topics, e.g., global regulatory compliance challenges, climate
change and carbon capture methods, liability recognition and estimation,
effect of Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) on existing business systems,
internal/external resource utilization, and the effect of new
laws/regulations on corporate operations. Also studied effect of
