2004 - 2007 Vice President of Construction Operations

Pardee Homes

Irvine, California

Responsibilities included; Construction, Customer Service and Accounts

Payable for the Orange County and I.E Region. Establish onsite and offsite

production schedules; includes establishing the business plan for the

region. Implement quality standards to insure all homes are complete and

defect free. Oversee and support the overall Customer Service Program and

making sure that efficient, courteous and prompt service is delivered to

the homebuyers, which includes budget and cost control. Manage, Train,

Educate and evaluate all construction personnel. Motivate and align tract

teams to achieve performance goals. Organize and operate regional

construction and satellite field offices. Conduct regional team meetings

in a leadership role. Insure proper implementation of B.M.P.'s in

accordance with the S.W.P.P.P plans and A.Q.M.D. Practice and promote

enforcement and compliance with all safety policies.

Responsibilities include the training and supervision of all

Superintendents and Assistant Superintendents, in the areas of how to

organize their jobs more efficiently. I am also responsible for

maintaining offsite and onsite schedules, which includes prioritizing

tasks, implementing work schedules and manpower requirements to facilitate

rapid and complete conclusion of projects. (Savvy schedule, Excel based). I

also helped organize and implement a mold protocol program, defined and

built the S.W.P.P.P (Storm Water Pollution Prevention Program). I have

also established a task force that brings multiple departments together to

discuss refinement of operations, utilizing process-mapping techniques, and

various other policies within the Operations Department. When needed,

solve disputes between Subcontractors, Homeowners and Superintendents. I

include successfully completed a 39 unit housing tract, including a 5 unit

model complex and a 180 unit condominium project in Playa Del Rey

(subterranean construction).

Intra Leisure Construction, Redondo Beach, California

Responsible for the supervision of construction for tenant improvements,

which included the remodeling of King Harbor Marina and various restaurants

within the leasehold.

1980 - 1983 Tenant Improvement Technician, Cado Systems,

Torrance, California

Responsible for all tenant improvements, carpenter, electrical and

mechanical maintenance, including the installation of "T" Bar ceiling and

metal stud construction and office improvements converted Toyota office

building to a computer manufacturing facility.
