ELECTRO MECHANICAL ENGINEER: STRONG IN DIGITAL HARDWARE
DEVELOPMENT VIA PCB LAYOUT, SCHEMATIC CAPTURE AND CAD DESIGN OF
MECHANICAL HARDWARE TO ACHIEVE PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT FROM INCEPTION
TO WORKING PROTOTYPE WITH A CONSTANT EYE TOWARDS MINIMIZING COST
WHILE MAXIMIZING FUNCTIONALITY DURING PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT.
PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Feb 1995 Digital Imaging Technology Inc.
TO PRESENT 2275 RESEARCH BLVD, ROCKVILLE, MD 20850 301-***-****
ELECTRO MECHANICAL ENGINEER
Digital hardware circuit design via OrCAD Layout, for imbedded
microprocessor designs and core structures using FPGA, MIPS and
DDR2, requiring tuned hi speed bus architectures.
Schematic Development via OrCAD Capture CIS.
Work closely with Senior Digital Hardware Engineer on new design
development, and provide hardware support to Software Engineers
during development of new designs, as well as ongoing support for
older designs.
Adept at microscopic prototype assembly, diagnostics & micro
assembly modifications.
CAD development of mechanical devices and or mounting hardware for
PCB support. Machined working prototype samples in-house whenever
applicable.
Design and develop in-house bed-of-nails test platforms for
production assembly manufacture, thereby greatly reducing
development cost.
Design and develop digital test hardware for product integration
Performed FCC, CE, UL related pre-compliance engineering design
implementation to reduce RF emissions, RF immunity, Conducted
Susceptibility and ESD protection, thus reducing the amount of lab
time required to become certified.
Provide on-site lab support for FCC, CE & UL compliance testing.
This entails on-the-go problem-solving to develop workable
solutions to problem areas during the test phase, thus greatly
reducing the need to reschedule multiple attempts for
certification.
Test and certify designs to Energy Star standards, thus
eliminating the need to outsource product testing required for
Energy Star certification. Modify older designs to comply with
Energy Star Standards.
Wrote user guide and maintenance manuals via Adobe Frame Maker.
Construct drawings for product certification data plates via Adobe
Illustrator.
Construct automated reports for Energy Star and Blue Angel
compliance via Microsoft Excel.
Researched, approved and purchased components, for prototype &
pre-production design development.
Create and maintain bill of materials list. Provide continuing
support as a helpdesk function to PCB manufacturing
Other duties: interoffice IT support, build and deploy work
stations, maintain Servers. Create and maintain engineering
debugging and development hardware platforms.

CURRENTLY OPERATING AS PRINTRONIX
TO FEBRUARY SENIOR FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER AND RMA DEPT MANAGER.
1995 SR-Technical Support Engineer / Leadership role as Field Tech
Manager to schedule and place various Field Techs to work sites
which best played to their strengths.
Promptly resolve complex issues at the most difficult customer
sites and satisfy customer concerns.
RMA department manager.
