DESCRIPTION: ISIS is a single system encompassing aspects of stevedoring

and terminal management consisting of 14 modules. Gate module is focused

on the requirements related to the management of terminal Gate for

Processing the Gate entry and exit for trucks and rail. A java swing

based application developed to access the underlying legacy systems. The

application exchanges information with the legacy mainframe systems by

screen scraping using a third party mid-tier product called Runway.

Earlier, the agents had to use the native screens to view or edit the

terminal operations. This was very time consuming, since it involved a

lot of cryptic commands, and navigating through 4-5 native screens to

perform a single task. ISIS solved this problem by providing a common and

user-friendly Graphical User Interface (GUI) to perform these tasks.
