Objective

Accomplished in the Hmong language I am offering my professional services

as an interpreter. I have a strong background working closely with

Interpreting Companies based in Rochester, Minnesota since 1991. I

actively seek your consideration to have me in your company's roster of

interpreters. I would welcome the privilege of speaking with you further

and look forward to hearing from you.

Qualifications

2000 thru present

At the present time I work for a company in my town as an interpreter for

Hmong, and have continued providing interpreting services via phone to

hospitals, school, courts, government agencies and remain as an active

participant assisting Hmong an speaking individuals within my community.

1988 thru 2000

I worked part-time as a professional interpreter for Insurance Companies,

Court Hearings and Department of Social Services while living in Des

Moines, Iowa from 1998 thru the year 2000. Prior to that I worked as a

full-time Hmong interpreter for the Unemployment Office of Providence,

Rhode Island. Moreover, I actively participated as an interpreter for

church members of the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church; as a

translation English and Hmong to English, I also assisted in the filing

and preparation of documents, medical visits, etc.

1984 thru 1988

I volunteered as an interpreter while in High School and later as a

professional interpreter while attending college for

Olmstead County Health Department, The Mayo Clinic and St. Mary's

Hospital. These are the three major medical

facilities in the Rochester, Minnesota area.

Education

1987 - Graduated with an Associate Degree in Art from the International

University of Fullerton, California.
