Description: Multi Modality Console Software is new console software being

developed for HMC who are the leading pioneers in medical instrumentation.

All the scanning Modalities like Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI) require

operator console to manage the Scanning. Currently Hitachi Medical

Company's modalities have separate applications for each modality. HMC

planned to create a single application, which can manage multiple

modalities. Multi Modality Console is an application for that purpose.

Current implementation of MMC would be for MRI, and later would be upgraded

to support other modalities. The process of MRI is patient registration,

scanning; post processing, review and filming. This is a new generation of

software console that will act as a decision support tool for doctors in

instant diagnosis.

Responsibilities:

. Prepared the Test Plans and Test Cases from the functional design

documents provided.

. Created the manual Test Scripts that covers all the possible test

scenarios. These manual scripts were automated using the QTP.

. Used Checkpoints, Parameterization, VBScript Functions and Methods in

QTP.

. Worked with Data Driven Testing for positive and negative values.

. Generated scripts for defect scenarios which reproducibility is rare

using QTP

Staff can accept, assign ticket. Manger can allocate, change resource to

the client so that they handle tickets. Admin has all administrative tasks

like adding, modifying and deleting details of clients, staff, Manager,

engineers, password change etc. High lights of this project are automatic

mailing facility is provided. A program that runs always in the background

will check the SOA time for each ticket. If the ticket does not meet SOA

time then, the ticket is escalated and mail is sent to Manager.
