Mud & Drilling Fluids Engineer:
Responsible for mud engineering and analyzing recipes for mixing
different types of drilling fluids systems and estimate the practical
volumes required.
Estimate mud materials and chemicals required for drilling each phase
and ensure that an adequate stock is available on the rig site.
Review the shipping manifest of the mud chemicals received from the
stores and checking the quality and quantity of these materials.
Monitoring the mud parameters while drilling and maintain it according
to the drilling program.
Updating well information and reporting the daily operation and mud
parameters.
Update the Weekly Mud Report based on the mud chemicals received /used,
daily.
Complete the Mud Cost and Materials Used Report and providing the
client with Recap and Well History Report.
Check and evaluate solids control equipments on rig site.
Supervise the arrangement of the chemical yard and keep it in a good
condition.
Flowing up safety regulations and environmental restrictions.
