EXPERIENCE
Northrop Grumman Mission Systems: March 1988 - Present
(formerly Logicon Ultrasystems Inc.)
. Contract work for 7 Years Supporting Boeing in El Segundo. I first
worked on the Advanced EHF project and then supported Boeing's
Engineering Process group with DOORs support.
. I provided support for the DOORs requirements database. Wrote DOORs
DXL scripts to import and manipulate the data entered into the
database. If requested, a requirements trace report was generated and
a monthly count of records was produced. Also provided Administrative
support on classified PCs for DOORs database which included adding
users and setting up access rights and backups. Maintained CMMI V1.2
in DOORs so it can be traced to Boeing's Processes.
. Briefly helped with PDPS. Compiling Error message from source code
and moving the message to HTML format. Wrote Visual Basic tool in
Excel to move message from XLS to HTML.
. Developed software utilities similar to C++ for a DOORS database.
Some of these utilities were designed to provide statistics on the
data within the database while other code customized traceability.
Also created some VBA Scripts to manage ease of reporting.
. Recently wrote a C++ code to convert a text file and format data to
HTML file.
. Created a demo to take DOORS data and export to XML. With the XSL
Style, the XML from DOORS could be displayed as on a browser as
tables.
. Worked on MILSTAR project performing Independent Security Verification
and Validation (ISV&V) on software for communication satellite.
Mostly performed static testing on the MILSTAR code but on occasion
with took sections of the code and performed some dynamic testing.
Most of the software was in written in 1750A assembly, TI9900
assembly, Jovial and Ada.
Northrop Electronics Corp.: May 1984 - March 1988
. Responsible for designing, coding and testing of real time software to
monitor functional health of IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) hardware.
Fortran 77
. Developed simulator to satisfy certain conditions needed for dynamic
testing of real time software.
. The code for the simulator and the real time software being tested
were written in Assembly and Fortran.
. Setup communications link between two Gould SEL 32/67 computers using
1553B bus protocol. Designed and coded timing routines to handle the
data transfer between to the two systems.
