Wireless System Design
. Calculates BER vs SNR performance using below defined blocks using
Matlab.
. Blocks include Interleaver/De-interleaver, QPSK Mod/Demod, Space Time
Coding/Decoding (Viterbi), Pulse/Match filter, Rician channel and
Noise (AWGN).
. Additional functionality of Turbo (3,1,1) channel encoder and BCJR
decoder.
Information Theory and Coding
. Evaluates Data Rate vs Power graphs for CDMA 2000 and IS-95
technologies in Matlab
. Different transmitter/receiver diversity like SISO, SIMO, MISO and
MIMO.
. Power allocation schemes used are Water filling, equal power
allocation and channel Inversion.
MIMO
. Comparison of BER (Bit error rate) for 2x2 MIMO using Block code
(Alamouti) and Space Time code in Matlab environment.
Digital Communication
. Physical layer system simulation for WLAN with specification like
(Channel, payload, rollover factor, sampling factor, BPSK modulation,
MDD (Minimum distance detection) and MLSE (Maximum likelihood system

Activities and Achievements
. Event Coordinator of IMAZE '08, a national level technical fair
organized by Sardar Patel University. I was responsible for Circuit
designing event which was targeted at freshman and sophomore year
students to test the knowledge with electronics components. The
circuits were created and tested by me.
. Cricket: played for G.H.Patel college cricket team from '04 to '08.
