Bill Pay Created and executed manual test cases (in HP Quality

project Center) to cover all business functional testing

(Feb-April requirements to ensure successful production deployment to

Lead tester relating to new web Bill Payment feature for

existing online eClient (View only) application, for

Barclays Wealth high net worth banking/brokerage retail

clients that was integrated with internal client sign

up/entitlements web based utility.

Coordinated and performed integration testing with third

party bank vendor, PNC bank and CheckFree/Fiserv (via PNC),

relating to mock data validation of ACH and check bill pay

transactions within eClient application.

Prepared daily testing status report in Excel 2007 linking

HP Quality Center and separate defect tracking system

(JIRA). Discussed testing results via daily conference

call with Project Manager, Development team and QA Manager.

Statement Transitioned to another project in midstream progress that

Redesign involved testing of the monthly client account statement

project generation process for high net worth clients (including

(May-June 2010) Prime Brokerage accounts). This was part of the migration

from mainframe onto a distributed platform.

Executed manual test cases and performed ad-hoc testing,

comparing client monthly statements (pdf files) on a page

by page analysis between the old mainframe generated

production statement to the new redesigned statement,

identifying any data mismatches relating to all investment

activity/balances, security description, legal jargon,

footnotes, etc.

Found several critical defects, one of which was a major

net worth balance discrepancy of a multi billion account

for GM corp.

Ensured the trading flow for Merrill Lynch's U.S.

institutional equities and options trading system. The

system provided direct access to NYSE, ARCA, NASDAQ, AMEX,

and other equity markets, and CBOE, ISE, PHLX, AMEX,

Pacific, Boston and NASDAQ options markets.

Acted as lead tester for FIX trading interface as well as

integration testing with ML X-TRADE front end trading

application.

Critical deliverables included the monthly release of

functional and performance enhancements to meet client and

market needs, in parallel with the migration of legacy

trading system to Merrill's internal trading platform.

Drafted and executed (via FIX client simulator and front

end GUI) manual/automated test scripts for functional

enhancements, bug fixes, and regression testing.

Analyzed component log files to confirm successful

end-to-end messaging inbound through front-office

components to the exchange and outbound through multiple

back office systems, as well as confirm successful message

enrichment and DB persistence.

Reported and tracked defects/system errors in JIRA, to

remote Business/Development teams and QA manager on daily

basis, primarily via conference calls, IM and email.

As a result of quick turnaround streamlined testing that

contributed to the growing base of satisfied client trading

users, trading volume more than doubled to over 50 million

equity shares/1 million options contracts, accounting for

over 5 percent of the total U.S equity options market.

Acted as QA Co-Lead for the European Secondary fixed income

trading, and QA Lead for the New Issues (Syndicate) US High

Grade fixed income client/server applications. Both systems

resided within same multi-product/multi-dealer trading

platform

For the Euro trading application, performed test planning

and test case development/execution for

enhancements/regression testing primarily related to

trading of US/Euro dollar denominated Eurobonds, Floating

Rate Notes (FRNs) and Euro High Yield & Euro-denominated

Emerging Markets bonds.

For the Syndicate trading application, performed test

planning/execution for enhancements/regression testing that

enabled institutional investors to submit indications of

interests (IOIs) for newly issued bonds of U.S. issuers to

the underwriter syndicates desks of our broker-dealer

clients through final trade progression stages

Managed the assignment for some of the Euro and Syndicate

applications functional testing responsibilities for each

release build as needed, to remote QA team (in Hyderabad,

India).

Had daily interaction with the Euro and Syndicate

Development teams, Project Managers (in NY & London),

Business Analysts and QA manager relating to testing

results.
