Running the CNC Machine

Duties Include
Inventory Control of material; in charge of the production of
panels and flashing; in charge of the shipping and receiving of
panels and flashing; in charge of QA/QC of panels and flashing;
overseeing of 20 to 25 men in these departments; in charge of
all mock-ups to present to new customers.

Provide AutoCad drawings and updates to project managers for
implementation. Analyze and draw hand-written or rough draft
drawings of details and elevations into electronic format.
Utilize previously drafted drawings for recreating and
repetitive use. Read Architectural Elevation and Soffit Plan
Drawings. Make changes to detailed drawings from architectural
drawings in AutoCad. Transfer AutoCad drawings to the Alphacam
program; setting drawing to a 0-0 position on the Y and X Axis;
explode drawings; join all line for routing tools; create order
for correct direction of routing; set all ghost tools in correct
direction; select correct tool for each route; select correct
depths for each tool; select proper spindle RPM; select proper
spindle feed rate (IPM); review finished tooling in 3D mode to
make any correction to the Alphacam drawing; save drawing to
proper file select proper post for drawing; send drawing to the
MultiCam DNC file; open job previewer; find ANC file and open
it; rotate drawing to proper X and Y axis; print out ANC file
with bar code; scan ANC file at the MultiCam router for finished
production; responsible for the creation of all ACM panels.
