I am a graduate of the College of Public and Community Service at U-Mass Boston where most
of my undergraduate work evolved around health care policy. I have developed the test for
Medical Interpreters currently used by Boston area hospitals and taught on numerous occasions
the Medical Interpretation Certification courses at Boston Area Health Education Centers.
I bring with me over ten years of experience working in and with health care organizations where
I have developed, implemented and managed many outreach projects. My recent work
experience evolved around managing two very important outreach projects in collaboration with
the center for Medicaid and Medicare. I worked exclusively with providers, patients and the
managed care team to increase the enrollment of patients in the Tobacco Control and Prevention
Program and Neighborhood Diabetes Program.
I recently graduated from Curry College with a Master’s degree in Business Administration.
Most of my graduate studies evolved around health care delivery systems, specifically patient
care and prevention. During my two year course of study, I researched and presented my
findings through high impact power point presentations.
What I will bring to your company along side many years of experience and graduate level
education is a strong communicator and presenter, excellent research and writing skills, a team
leader as well as a team player who is able to multitask, work well under pressure and on
multiple projects simultaneously.
