PROJECTS RELATED TO SOFTWARE TESTING AUTOMATION:
. Data Driven Framework for testing Web and windows Applications Using QTP
Get data from external Excel sheet using Vb script functions and
automate software process for each row of data stored in excel sheet.
Compare the actual result and expected result which is stored in excel
sheet ( or result from the same kind of other application) and store
comparison result match or not match back in the excel sheet.
> Responsibility: Worked with Expert view using VB script. Develop
object repository(Local and Shared), Data table, Functions using Vb
script to automate process and comparison, Error handling, some use
of Descriptive programming and recovery scenario, test results,
use of checkpoints as per need. In window application I use actions
instead of function.
. Keyword Driven and Hybrid Framework for testing web application Using
QTP:
In This project I build test plan, test cases and write test
steps for each test case in excel sheet. In each test steps I include
keyword to be execute functions related to keyword in my excel sheet and
I also add some amount of input for the particular steps. I automate
whole process of testing based on keywords and input in the separate
excel sheet. While in Hybrid Framework I supplied data for the software
process form the excel sheet and also use keywords to perform each step
in the test case. This framework will very useful during regression
testing and software maintenance.
> Responsibility: Develop test cases, test steps and test data. I use
mostly all functionality of QTP which I described in my data driven
framework.
. Program testing using Nunit- open source testing tool for learning basic
functionality of Nunit.
Perform Nunit testing on my program developed in the Visual studio 2010
using C# to check basic functionality of Nunit testing tool
> Responsibility: Use of basic functionality of NUnit - open source
software testing tool, In this project I explore attributes of
Nunit such as TestFixture, Test,Ignore,Testassert, Setup,
Teardown,TestFixureSetup,TestFixureTearDown and Expectedexception
etc.
. Beside these projects in software testing I also perform some software
development project during my bachelor one of of them is online
examination using Visual studio 2.0 and C# with backend SQL
