Preliminary Design to Construction Documents to

Site Takeoffs and Project Estimating: Develop and present Cost
Estimates as required.
Contract Planning and Development: Write, manage all Contracts and
Change Orders.
Hire all Subcontractors and oversee Subcontract work from startup
to completion.
Office Management and Accounting Oversight.
Project Management and Site Supervision to include oversight of all
supervisors and employees, on site procedures,
layout, scheduling, material ordering and monitoring and approval
of all construction phases of project.
Complete Project Oversight with emphasis on in field quality
control and professionalism.
Specifics Edward Whitehouse is fully registered in
Landscape Architecture (RLA 3605) and is a fellow (FASLA) of the
American Society of Landscape Architects. Since 1983, Edward
Whitehouse is also licensed, bonded and fully
insured in all facets of Landscape Contracting (Ca. license
444342). He has over 30 years in the environmental
Design/Build industry with emphasis on excellence and quality
control in sales, marketing, design and product
implementation. After 30 years as an entepreur and CEO of
Whitehouse Design Inc., Edward is seeking a career
change that allows him the ability to contribute professionally to
the development industry and utilize his education
and 30+ years of experience to learn, to collaborate and assist in
process planning, project oversight and
management. He believes that he is an excellent problem solver and
able to grasp complex issues and identify
opportunities and constraints towards resolution of critical
issues. Although most of the emphasis over the 30 years
has been in the private residential market (see Website:
Eawdesign.com) with average gross sales of 800,000.00,
there have been two specific commercial Design/Build projects: (1)
with Wier Construction Inc. on San Diego
Unified and (2) Holiday Inn on the Bay. Both of these were
Design/Build in nature.
