1974 - 1976 - Specialty Chemical Formulator at Tanatex Chemical Company,

Lyndhurst, NJ. formulating new products with new raw

materials and production scale-up.

1976 - 1978 - Physical Testing Laboratory Specialist for G.A.F. Inc. in

Wayne, NJ where I wrote internal ASTM testing procedures

for a new automotive plastics market using poly butylene

terphthalate, made prototype injection molded and extruded

QC samples for testing and used various types of

instrumentation for QC results.

1978 - 1990 - New Product Formulator and synthesis chemist for

International Textile Department of a specialty chemical

manufacturer, Diamond Shamrock Inc., a global specialty

chemical company headquartered in, Morristown, NJ -in 1987

I transferred from Research to Shift Supervisor of

Production Quality Control in Harrison, NJ. SPC and ISO

9000 were used throughout the corporation.

1990 - 2006 - Laboratory Manager then Research Manager for a specialty

chemical manufacturer, Atlas Refinery, Inc. in Newark, NJ.

Responsible for new product formulation and development,

and oversee plant production to improve quality using

Statistical Process Control and ISO 9000 quality

guidelines.

OTHERS - I have held a position in sales for Path Silicones, Elmwood Park,

NJ. I and a partner ran a Silicone Sales company and Formulations

Laboratory on a small scale since year 2004. In 2006, we took on a partner

and in 2008, lost my original partner. Currently, we formulate and supply

leather products for international clients and I contribute to the

business by phone to my partner.
