Real estate developer constructing a 2,600-acre resort with an estimated
build out cost of $3B.
Vice President/COO, Development Services, Dominican Republic
Senior executive responsible for the design and ground up construction of
the Roco Ki Resort in the Dominican Republic including Westin hotel, golf
courses, marina, condominiums, villas, infrastructure and warehouses with
current projects valued at $250M. Managed preparation of master planning
documents, overall project budgets and scheduling and major capital
equipment procurement. Oversee a total work force of 100 professionals and
technicians, 15 major contractors and 10 major design consultants. Manage
prequalification, bidding and negotiations of all construction and design
contracts and final contractor/consultant selection. Directly control
quality control/improvement and safety processes. Reported directly to
Board of Directors for project schedule and budget issues.
. As part of the three month project executive transition, implemented a
new budget, schedule, quality control and organizational systems that
provided substantially more accurate, transparent and effective
project controls and reporting.

. Directed the $125M renovation/expansion of the Shelbourne hotel in
Dublin, Ireland including renovation of 170 hotel rooms, public areas,
MEP systems, structural repairs and the addition of 95 new rooms.
. Led the emergency design and construction for a $25M repair and
restoration project to a Kauai Marriott resort within eight months
following a series of heavy rain storms and flood damage.
. Provided technical and operational support for the construction of

Middle East, Africa, Russia, Armenia and the Republic of Georgia.
