Held strategic, tactical and fiscal oversight for North American human
resources with up to 12,000 personnel (exempt, nonexempt, union/non-
union), as well as outsourced and offshore staffing. Assembled and led a
senior HR team of 28 direct reports across Compensation, Benefits, Labor
Relations, Talent Acquisition/Management and Organization Development; led
matrix legal, union relations and compliance staff.
Direct accountability for HR governance,
strategic planning, compliance, talent management,
compensation analysis, organizational
development, risk management, employee relations, metrics,
policy & procedure development, etc. Served as key human capital
advisor to c-suite for short/long-range
planning, consolidations and M&As. Researched,

. HR expert to lead/support corporate initiatives, including M&As,
realignments, compliance, consolidations, standardization,

- Managed HR plan and execution of more than 30 acquisitions
and divestitures, including three large-scale acquisitions
(1,000+ employees) and one large divestiture
(3,500+ employees); assessed talent, defined competency
gaps and eliminated redundancy;
- Reduced US HR/Payroll FTEs from 90 to 77 following shared
service center implementation; - Directed consolidation of 82
payrolls to 40 delivering $870,000 in savings;
- Participated in planning and execution of IT outsourcing
initiative;
- Managed and implemented an HRIS upgrade to include employee
self-service.
. Conceptualized/directed aggressive benefit cost savings program following
2008 ICI acquisition: - Consolidated benefit programs yielding
$4.5 million in annual savings;
- Negotiated, implemented and maintained all benefit vendor contracts
with key performance indicators, resulting in $2.4 million annual
