warehouse on a Sun Solaris 2.5 Unix system. Developed all of the code and
the relational tables. Used Unix shell scripting to set off programs
(krontab function), checked for variable types. This database has twelve
different tables, which range in size from 7 million records to over 635
million records. The building of this data warehouse included loading
from flat files into the SAS tables on a weekly and monthly basis. The
purpose of this data warehouse is to determine consumer behavioral on
various levels -- payment history, purchase history, credit history and
call center activity.
