Project: High Resolution X-Ray Detector and Imaging Systems
. Led the testing efforts of a clinical computer application interfacing
a Micro-Angiographic-Fluoroscopic detector (aka MAF) designed by our
group. The application controls the detector and acquires medical
images for different modalities.
. Provided exhaustive and adequate test coverage for increased
sensitivity of the MAF, negligible image lag, high spatial resolution,
excellent visualization of details of medical devices, to produce high
quality images of excellent diagnostic utility for effective treatment
of cerebrovascular diseases like aneurysms, vessel stenoses etc.
. Assisted Principal Investigator and lead scientist in planning and
organizing projects; ensured we stayed on schedule to deploy the
imaging system on live humans for clinical trials in the Millard
Fillmore hospital - a major breakthrough in the field of Medical
Physics.
. Responsible for technical writing and producing documentation such as
several versions of reference guides, user guides, summary instruction
sheets, process improvement documents, quick reference guides, signoff
