Responsibilities:
• Currently involved in Pre-launch Optimization (AT&T) for UMTS 1 st & 2nd Carrier in MI/MN
market
• Responsibilities include preparing site lists, initial neighbor list; neighbor lists verification,
creating cellrefs, mapper and drive routes verifications/modifications using MapInfo.
• Analyze cluster drive data and market drive data using Actix, MapInfo.
• Preparing Neighbor List for Intra, Inter, IRAT, IRAT Core & Border & Assigning Priorities.
• In call analysis for call drops (CS and PS), Pilot pollution analysis, parameter configuration,
scrambling code offset changes, IRAT neighbor analysis and UMTS neighbor analysis.
• RF Coverage optimization using antenna tilt and azimuth fine tuning for optimal coverage
overlap and reduction of pilot pollution by Ec/No and RSCP improvements.

Client: AT&T & T-mobile
• My responsibilities include collecting drive test data for 3G UMTS network, IRAT handover
testing, stationary drive data collection and comparing throughput between Edge and HSDPA
phones, Report generation.
• Analyzing and verifying drive test data with Map info and TEMS.
• Processing & preparing AT&T GNG Cluster KPI reports for UMTS multicarrier expansion,
growth sites and cluster sites.
• Perform IRAT neighbor Analysis, parameter configurations and pilot pollution Analysis.
• Monitor & Analyze the Layer3 UMTS protocol in Agilent.
• Coordinate and assist the drive team in kit setup ( TEMS & Agilent) and ensure proper data
collection.
ACADEMIC PROJECTS:
• Digital Communication System: Worked on the physical layer simulation reference system for
a digital communication system (fixed WLAN). Designed a channel equalizer using MLSE
(Viterbi algorithm) for a multi-path channel (introducing inter-symbol interferences) with BPSK
modulation based on the assumption that the channel can be perfectly estimated at the receiver.
• Wireless Communications: System level design for Mobile wireless user terminal using
MATLAB. Performance of the system was observed by implementing Diversity scheme (MRC),
Viterbi Encoder-decoder, Puncturing and Interleaving.
• Advanced Wireless Communications: Implemented Space time coding (like space time block
coding or space time trellis code) in MIMO communication system for different combination of
transmitter and receiver such as 2 X 1, 2 X 2, 4 X 1 and 4 X 4.
