Ground-based Missile Defense, System Ops & Sustainment, The Boeing Company,

Vandenberg, CA

. Provides facility, field and construction engineering support in

fielding Missile Defense Agency (MDA) capabilities in areas related to

facility, infrastructure, missile/launch field construction and

operations, and upgraded early warning radar complexes

. Coordinates proposals and bidding processes, and provides project

status updates to management

. Evaluated several facilities in Santa Maria and made recommendation to

The Boeing Company to lease to meet storage needs; worked with city

and government on completing permits

. Ensures integration of facility design, construction, site planning,

scheduling, and manages construction from initial design to project

completion

conformance to established specifications and that project scope,

timeline, budget and schedules are maintained

airfield runways and parking aprons

with national/government/international coalitions and non-government

organizations in determining available resources, equipment and

conditioning and entomology) for all base construction, maintenance

and operations of infrastructure to construct, maintain and repair

2,647 base facilities, 996 residential homes and all airfield

facilities including hangars and runways

. Developed and executed an annual operating budget of $10.4M in

construction and maintenance repair projects, renovation projects and

minor construction and managed $11M in capital assets

. Reviewed and evaluated design plans on 104 construction projects prior

to awarding contracts

. Directed $5.3M electrical utility installation for new Air Force base

infrastructure in Iraq; largest electrical construction project in USA

Air Force history at a remote location/site

costs $15M annually
