Bayshore Physicians. From the ground up, start up of lab
which included all phases of
Certification. Wrote all manuals for lab such as: S.O.P, QA, Start
up and Shut down
Procedures for all instruments. Etc. Phlebotomy, Calibration of
instruments, Processing
specimens, running tests, blood pressures, pulse, and
Reporting results. To organize and maintain an efficient, cost-
effective office. To oversee the
daily function of the Laboratory.
1997-2007 Physicians STAT Laboratory
-Florida
Opened my own laboratory.
All phases of certification and accreditation
Obtained to open. Including
100% of all manuals such as: S.O.P, Q.A,
OSHA, Safety, Employee, Start
up and Shut down and set up of all
Instruments. Everything
needed for CLIA and COLA. Once opened I
operated the lab with other Techs
and Lab Director, processing specimens,
running tests, phlebotomy, taking
out the trash whatever needed to be done.
I grew the business to 15
Employees and 3 other satellite patient service
centers. Directed daily
activities for lab area as well as couriers. Every 2
years inspections were required.
We were always very proficient in our
survey. In the top 10% of all
independent labs in Florida. Calibrated numerous medical instruments
daily with known concentrations. Usuallly 6 to 8 point
Linear graphs. Also ran unknown values and created concentrations.
Plotted Levey - Jenning graphs.
Trouble shooted instruments and ran Q.C afterward. All information was
logged and reviewed for internal Q.C as well as our biannual state and
government inspectors.
In 2007 my health forced me to sell Physician's STAT Laboratory and we
moved out of state. Diagnosis was Osteomyolitis in my sternum. After
surgeries my health is fine now and I am looking
forward to putting my knowledge and myself back to work. I am open to any
shift including 3rd. Please
