. 2005 Promax/BDA North American Award and World Gold Design Award for

design of CES trade show booth -

the largest project by DirecTV Creative Services to date.

approval policies and procedures.

. Developed design handbook and trained business partners in design

application uses, graphic design terminology

and printing processes.

EXPERIENCE

Freelance art direction 2005-Present

Clients include: Healthcare Communications Group, Island Divers Hawaii,

MARS Creative Advertising and Eventmakers.

DirecTV 2000-2005 Art Director/Design Manager

Design, art direction and project management of national/regional

acquisition campaigns, trade show booths,

and merchandising displays. This includes client presentations,

communicating revisions and providing creative direction

to staff of up to 12 designers and copywriters in the development of photo

shoots, advertising, point-of-sale merchandising,

and direct mail. Other responsibilities include managing traffic and

production staff as well as budgets in excess of $1M.

Freelance art direction 1998-2000

Clients included: DirecTV, UCLA Medical Center, Knowledge Adventure

Software and Oglesby Design.

Disney Channel 1996-1998 Senior Designer

Design and execution of ads, premiums and collateral for national

campaigns, from concept to delivery. This included

managing freelance designers and illustrators, prepress production,

correcting/approving color proofs and press checks.

CareAmerica Health Plans 1995-1996 Designer

Design and production for all brochures, newsletters, posters, invitations

and print collateral, as well as art direction

of photo shoots and freelance illustrators.

Graphic Arts Systems (intern) 1990-1991

Scitex and Mac electronic prepress production.

Oglesby Design 1988-1995

Design, layout and production for all brochures, advertising, packaging and

print collateral.

Clients included: UCLA Medical Center, L.A. Gear, Mongoose Bicycles and

Hughes Aircraft.
