and ranks 2nd in terms of shipping performance (99.7%).

Directed the advanced sourcing of new program content with a team of eight
buyers - achieved $1200 per unit cost savings within four months of joining

delivery inspections and preparation for ocean shipment). Led the Detroit
based GM-International Vehicle Operations team which controlled finished
vehicle logistics for export units, sourced all ocean vessel (Ro-Ro)
contracts, and coordinated all outbound movement of export vehicles via Ro-
Ro vessel. Successfully reduced overall transit time by 50%.
Materials Management - Launched the In-direct material crib and Mobile
Equipment repair facilities during the GMT400 launch at Pontiac East
Assembly. Promoted to General Supervisor of Material Handling in 1989 then
General Supervisor of Material Control in 1990. At a divisional level,
managed inbound transportation for GM Baltimore, Scarborough, and Lordstown
