Project # 1: ECC6.0 Project Upgrade (Went live Mar 7 2011):
Customer: BOSE Corporation.
Work Location: Massachusetts- USA

Client system has been using ECC 5.0 for couple of years now. There was
some additional functionality customized in the system which is available
as standard in the next version ECC 6.0
Additionally, the cost of support from SAP for providing support packs is
becoming a costly affair for the client, which pushed them to go for the
upgrade.
Responsibilities:
. Understand the hot packs within OTC in ECC6.0 & relate to impacts in
existing system prior to upgrade.
. Working with the upgrade project manager in building test plans to
undergo unit testing, integration & regression testing in the cycle 1
& cycle 2 testing.
. Weekly meetings with the upgrade team to understand the week's status
& forecasts for the next week.
. Work on defects identified by business or other functional modules,
defect tracking using HPQC (Quality Centre).
. Cut-over activities include manual configuration, closing old sales
orders, scheduling agreements, ATP, order-related, delivery-related
objects due for billing.
. Worked on Hyper-care support & post hyper care tickets.

The ElectroForce Systems Group of Bose Corporation provides materials
testing and durability simulation instruments to research institutions,
universities, medical device companies and engineering organizations

Business Blue Printing, Realization, Go-live.

Project # 4: BOSE D2 Stabilization Projects after ECC 5.0 go-live

After ECC 5.0 went live there were multiple issues in system performance,
business process issues & this lead the client to go for a stabilization
effort across all functional modules.
Responsibilities:
. Re-architected ATP interface delta programs from SAP to Siebel.
. Re-implementation of RF transactions used in warehouse after
understanding clear business requirements & sign off.
. Worked on make-to-order, consignment order, standard order
configuration and back-order processing.
. Worked on Performance tuning reports with the ABAP consultants.
. Changed the route determination/definition for specific carriers which
saved a lot of cost to the company in determining the right carrier
for the shipment based on weight LTL(Less than Truck Load), TL (Truck
Load) or Parcel situations.
. Identifying all BDC's created from SAP 4.7 to SAP BAPI's in the new
system which will be carried for future implementations by working
with ABAP team & testing the business process to ensure no functional
impact.
Project # 5: BOSE SD - OTC & ABAP Production Support

Along with the D2 stabilization projects, I was also assigned the work of
providing support to the production systems. All tickets were monitored via
Remedy tool & carried a specific priority which will impact the SLA
directly.
Responsibilities:
. Leading the OTC - ABAP team of size 15 for Tier1 activities as part of
OTC Production support. Support activities were onsite - offshore
model based out of US, India and china.
. Attending the weekly status meeting with the client & Periodic
monitoring of SLA for OTC help desk tickets
. Tier 1 activities: Maintenance and fixing High & Urgent tickets at
onsite which include change in configuration, customizations dealing
with changes in user-exits, requirements, routines within SLA.

Responsibilities:
. Developed the different phases of the ASAP methodology in correlation
with the other members of the team and the project leads in planning
the scope of the project, providing documentation, defining business
scenarios and providing support.
. Requirements gathering: Worked with different client divisions for
evaluating the AS-IS of the Logistics process and understanding their
requirements for transportation, Freight Costing, 3PL, optimization of
loads based on LTL/ TL and parcel shipments.
. Conducted workshops and showed demos of the system for explaining the
solutions for different scenarios.
. Set up variant configuration within SD.
. Developed the Enterprise Structure of the company by working in

Reports, Functional Module and GP Programs
. Worked on Reports, Module Pool, Scripts, Enhancement, User-exit, Field
exit, Function Module.
. Was involved in the Identifying the problem due to the Fiscal Variant
change from 13 to 12 periods as well as the solution of this.
