- Developed methods using eddy currents and x-ray diffraction to
measure residual stress in shot-peened engine alloys, allowing
a better prediction of engine life
- Implemented algorithms that converted data from an eddy current
system to a form used to determine residual stress
- Designed and built a GUI in Matlab to visualize data obtained
from an x-ray diffraction system
- Assisted writing a Visual C++ program to obtain and manipulate
data from an electromagnetic interference system, then render
it in a user-friendly format
- Researched and applied new techniques for importing 3D images
