Self-Administrative-life cycle Management for entities in the OKKAM FP7
European Project.
The Goal of the project is to Design, implementation and evaluation of
novel models and methods for managing the creation and evolution of
entities in an Entity Name System in the OKKAM project. Involved building
Data warehouse repository for managing entities of geonames. The objective
of the project was to build central repository of 7.5 million geonames
database. The data in the text files is imported in to the repository and
after applying business rules like finding alternative ids related to
Dbpedia database and updating the alternative information i.e. owlSameas
information into the geonames id, is than transferred to oracle database.
Clients interact with the system through the OKKAM Services layer. Clients
can be both human users and applications.

This project involved building Data Warehouse for health care department,
Trento Italy The objective of the project was to have central repository of
health departments and to avoid the impact of bad data displayed at the end
user and how easily end user can be evolved to clean the data. Monthly
analysis reports were generated from the warehouse. The data in the text
format is transformed after applying some business rules is transformed
into oracle. During analysis if the user finds inadequate data using
interactive data cleaning tools he can update the information or delete the
information and save in the repository.
1. Branch Office consists of Flat Files (Fixed width) running on Novell
Netware 4.6 and a client on Windows 98.
2. Seven Branches were connected to Circle Office through Leased Lines.

Project Title : Job offer ( Job offers with candidate's profiles )

Client Lego labs, Italy The project job bank were developed in order to
link the job offers based on candidate's profile. The scenario is having a
two clients,
. Firstly will be the worker- who used to create, manage and delete the
profile what he enters into the unemployed worker union. This
unemployed worker union is the place where we can find all the
profiles of the unemployed people.
. Secondly client will be company profile and this company profile will
be linked to job union, where you can find all types of jobs for the
suitable people. The company will publish new profile, update the
profile and delete the profile based on the requirements.
So here the scenario will be the worker is connected to worker union and
company is connected to job union. Now we have connector to connect with
worker union and job union, which is called as job broker. This job broker
will search for any new profile in the server. If any profile comes from
worker side, it will match the requirements of the worker with the profile
of the company, if the worker's profile matches with any company profile
then the job broker will send a mail to worker saying that you got a job.
Same way happens on the other hand, where if any new profile comes from
company side, it will check and send it to the company.

Project Title : Comparative Analysis of On-Line Analytical Processing Tools

C Lidel, Germany is a leading chain of food and beverages supply shop
with more than 500 outlets all over Europe. The Data warehouse is developed
to analyze sales and financial data for both franchise and company owned
stores on a periodical basis. Data for analysis was received in flat files
and than converted to tables in Oracle database using Informatic tool. Flat
files sources were stored in Informatica repository, which was design as
staging area for transformation purpose. Depending on the dimensional data
model implemented on Oracle8i data were segregated, fine-tuned and
transformed using Informatica features like Filtration, Aggregation,
Joiner, Expression, Stored Procedure and Source Qualifier. Information was
provided to the clients using cognos reporting tools. Cognos repository was
created on oracle 8i database to hold reports and view. In order to analyze
and compare tools performance we have created Business object repository on
oracle database to test the performance factors in generating reports by
the end user for analytical purpose.
