Objective: Pursue full time job or internship in Electrical Engineering,
especially in RF area.
EDUCATION
. Master of Science in Electrical Engineering Sep, 2008 - May,
2010 GPA 3.83/4.0
Syracuse University, L.C. Smith College of Engineering and Computer
Science, Syracuse, NY
. Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering Sep, 2004 - July,
2008 GPA 3.20/4.0
University of Science and Technology Beijing, Information Engineering
Department, P.R. China
SKILLS
. Microwave and VLSI design software: Ansoft, AWR, Sonnet, Genesys,
AutoCad2010, Cadence.
. Experienced in using microwave equipment such as Agilent Network and
Spectrum Analyzers.
. Programming Language: VHDL, Verilog, C++, Matlab.
INTERNSHIP
Jigang Group Co., Ltd (The fifth greatest steel company in China)
July 2007 - Sep. 2007
Studied producing process and control & measurement
techniques.
Worked in their central control department to record data and help
maintain system.
PROJECT EXPERIENCE
. Balanced Low Noise Transistor Amplifier Design (1.9 to 2.2 GHz)
Gt >= 14dB, NF<=2.0dB. Use Ansoft software to design and simulate the
circuit, then use AUTOCAD to draw the layout for manufacture. The
circuit is measured by using spectrum and network analyzers.
. Hairpin Bandpass Filter Design (2.4 to 2.7 GHz)
Use GENESYS to design the prototype, then use ANSOFT and SONNET to do
the EM simulation and current animation. The circuit is measured by
using network analyzer.
. 8-bit Microprocessor chip design (simulated by Cadence and created
GDSII file)
The chip can execute ADD, SUB, JUMP, NAND, SHIFT and MOV instructions.
Design the datapath manually based on Cadence. Design the controller
automatically by building the verilog code to generate the schematic
and layout.
. Programming Project
Build the VHDL source code and test bench code for the following
units:
CLA Adder, Comparator, Decoder, Multiplexer, Register, Sequence
Detector, Barrel Shifter, Serial Multiplier, Arithmetic Logic Unit
(ALU), Memory Unit.
C++ Programming: Game Design Hangman.
. Bachelor's Project: Industrial Temperature Control System Design Based
on SCADA.
