Duties:
Satellite feed up link and down link, transmitter and FCC time logs, running on-air
programming from various program sources, servers and live studio/remote news, tune in
live shots
for both WINK-TV and CW6 in both HD and analog . Monitor 6 different radio stations
owned and operated by Fort Myers Broadcasting/Meridian/ Sun Broadcasting. Trouble
shooting for WINK-TV and CW6 and six Radio Stations (WINK FM, WFSX FM, WINK
AM, WARO FM, WTLT FM, WTLQ FM: owned and operated bySun/Meridian/Fort
Myers Broadcasting), discrepancy reports, maintenance requests, cut-ins, logos, weather
alerts, EAS Tests and transmissions in emergency situation. Work in coordination with
news, production, engineering, programming, traffic and management.
Equipment and Programs: Florical Systems: Air Boss, Showtimer, Mediatimer,
Media Master. K-Router, Miranda PresStation 4.5, Grassvalley and Harris
Switchers, Leitech and Videotech Routers, Web-Boss, Windows, Word, Avid
Servers and Media Stream Operational Programs, Newspath, Panasonic DVCPRO
and Sony Betacam Decks, Omni, Altiea and DSR-4810 Digtial Receivers, Andrew,
Harris and Patriot Dish Controllers, Logosmotion, DMG, Pathfire, PitchBlue and
Machine Room Operation, Burk Transmitter Programs, various waveforms
monitors and vectorscopes and program monitor.
