Non-profit corporation hiring disabled people for electronic assembly.
President
• Promoted to President, and provided long term and day-to-day leadership to this unique company
which employed disabled people for assembly of electronic products and components. Seventy-five
percent of staff was disabled.
• Generated and oversaw all corporate communications, including annual reports to the Board of
Directors, marketing and promotional materials, public relations, internal policy and procedure
communiqués, and official correspondence.
• Continued plant management duties, along with executive oversight of financial control, logistics,
operations, staff management, human resources, strategic planning, legal affairs, sales, and marketing.
• Led company to two prestigious awards: “Small Business Supplier of the Year” for Curtiss-Wright,
and “Employer of the Year” for the Fair Lawn Deaf Program.
• Directed all Human Resources initiatives to maintain company’s position of leadership in providing

Plant Manager

create Will Way’s first web page.
• Initiated company’s toll-free lines for nationwide customer access.
• Directed all sourcing and purchasing, maintaining excellent relations with 20-25 vendors.
• Purchased all parts and followed them through supply chain for customers’ “just in time” inventory.
• Served as Human Resources Director, including hiring of entire workforce and overseeing benefits
package for proper compliance.
• Supervised preparation of all accounting operations monthly for C.P.A.
• Maintained quality control. Inspected all printed circuit boards Will Way shipped. Maintained direct
contact with lead foreman to ensure proper quality was maintained on all other product shipped per
customers’ requirements.
• Saved thousands of dollars annually by reducing truck fleet costs as customer shipping needs
changed. Sold off two old, inefficient vehicles purchase new, efficient vehicle, resulting in savings in
insurance, maintenance, and fuel.
