Serve as compliance focal for internal and external accounts. Externals
accounts were in the public sector, finance sector and healthcare sector. I
am aware of HIPPA, SAS70 and SOX requirements. Providing and coordinating
the creation, review, and ongoing maintenance of security policies. I
served as primary focal for internal, external, and third party
audits/reviews. I assist in issue and risk management. Including problem
tracking and risk acceptance process. Compliance assessment, conducting
process reviews, and after-hours desktop reviews. I am the focal point for
advice, counsel, and interpretation of security standards and policies. I

marketing software package for a major computer company. My third project
was to activate the audit abilities for multiple AS/400 systems. Monitored
and resolved security issues. Assisted operation people during system
failures. Assisted technical people during system upgrades. Installed and
maintained third party data mirroring software.
Operation Manager, LEP Profit International, Inc., Atlanta, GA. 1990 -
1993
Responsibilities included research and enhancements to AS/400 using PTFs,
performance monitoring and disk utilization. Maintain in-house procedures
and documentations. I was responsible for daily operation of AS/400 and
Prime environment. I had extensive interaction between the help desk and
the programming department. I received three promotions within three years.

. Use of performance monitoring to have applications re-design to be
less CPU intense and complete in a shorter time frame.
. Provided input and design of in-house Trouble Ticket management

System Programmer, Mohawk Carpet Corporation, Marietta, GA. 1982 - 1990
Responsibilities included support and maintenance of COMS, DATACOM, and
NDLII software. Installed, maintained, and supported large systems
software. I research and implemented third party software. I also served
as technical resource for 30 programmers and operational staff. I wrote
COBOL application for the accounting system. I was the liaison for
operational and end user staff. I worked as part of the help desk and in
operations. I started as a laser printer operator. I trained new operators.
I received eight promotions within eight years.
