As part of R&D-to-manufacturing process, responsible for thermal mapping of

pre-production laptop computers, including those in carrying cases.

. Conducted testing to determine reliability under computer

specification limits..

. Wrote test reports on results of testing.

. Equipment / processes used: Temperature and humidity test performed in

Atlas and CSZ (Cincinnati Sub Zero) environmental chambers. Shock and

vibration test were performed by Data Physics vibration table. For

temperature testing used ViewLab program.

. Tested computer's microphone and laud speakers in the temperature

range 0 to 35

Responsible for thermal troubleshooting of customers' computers in the

field that either had electrostatic discharge erased storage data or were

physically melted as a result of excess heat.

. Troubleshoot, identified the problem, and determined solutions for

implementation in present or future designs. This included recreating

the problem and testing the boards to the component level.

Responsible for notebook testing batteries and reporting results to reduce

negative incidents.

. Tested batteries for life expectations and power consumptions when

laptops were designed to be configured with different peripherals.
