Project History
• Participated in the development of the Travelex Settlement system that played key part in
the conversion of a large client

captured key additional information.

First Data is a large cardholder processor which provides a number of services to several large
institutions. It offers processing options for both issuing and acquiring businesses.
Title: APPLICATION ARCHITECT
• Developed and maintained programs as part of team that provide both Online and batch
support for variety of applications. Duties include providing analysis support for various
projects, developing software, testing software changes, and serving as subject matter
expert for multiple subsystems. Responsible for giving expert advice in the designing of
technical solutions that satisfied client’s requirements. Also responsible for researching
and addressing user’s incidents/issues in a timely manner. Subsystem responsibilities
includes: Online Merchant, ALPHA Name Lookup, Online Monetary, and Commercial Card
Authorization system.
Project History
• Part of a project that was instrumental in the implementation of the merchant enhanced
cardholder acceptance features. This feature gave merchant more flexibility in the type of
transactions and the type of cardholders that could be processed. This eliminated the
need for a merchant to setup multiple accounts in order to perform various functions.
• Played key role as part of the group that was responsible for the design and development
of software changes that allowed full processing for Discover Card and American Express
cardholders.
• Routinely implemented regulation changes that insured processing met mandatory
requirements.
• Key contributor that consulted with business partners in the development of the
Commercial Card Authorization History System. This captured critical data at the time of
authorization that decreased research time by 85 percent.
• Participated in the re-design and development of the Commercial Card Authorization
Override controls and parameters. This gave clients the ability to use a more complex
combination of options while decreasing maintenance time by 60 percent and decreasing
number records that had to be maintained by 50 percent.

Project History
• Part of a project that designed and developed a feature that allowed Open End Lending
accounts the ability to have multiple deferred balances. This reduced the maintenance
time for customers with multiple deferred balances by 85 percent.
• Played key part in developing real time delinquency system. This gave client the ability to
access accounts delinquency status immediately and reduced a significant number of
delinquency issues.

• Duties include the maintenance of the Action Data processing table system that was used
in critical processing. Part of application and system teams that was responsible for the
Action Data PAT (Parallel and Test) system that aided in validation of Online software
changes. This included the submitting and maintaining of jobs that main task was to
identify discrepancies in software changes. Duties also included consulting with the
programming staff to validate discrepancies.
