1. Computer Sciences Corp: (Emirates Airlines) April-2008 till Present

A Subject Matter Expert in the area of Fare Quoting and ticketing carried

out Emirates Strategic Pricing Development with Strong business Analysis

and background. Provided consulting service for various enhancement, User

entries, guidelines and procedures. Ensured that I had appropriate

information on business and project area I am assigned. Also ensured that I

had enough Market Data to start analysis on the Enhancements/Project.

Analyzed business plans, processes and practices as well as industry trends

and made timely recommendations.

Worked closely with industry leaders like ATPCO/GDS/IATA/SITA/Major

carriers in various industry mandate projects through working groups, where

by proposing changes and its implementation. Effectively implementing and

supporting Fare quoting and ticketing strategies.

Project: 198 Taxes IATA Mandate (Removal of XT Tax on Electronic Tickets)

Client: Emirates Airline

Role: Design and Development.

Description: This project applies to all Emirates Customers in all Emirates

local markets worldwide. As of 27 April 2009 Emirates and its customers

will no longer use combined Tax code "XT" for the transmission of

tax/fee/charge date in Electronic Ticket Records. This project was done to

comply with an IATA Mandate and to support Emirates and its customers to be

able to handle up to maximum of 99 new taxes and up to maximum of 99 paid

taxes.

Project: Service Charge (YR Surcharge)

Client: Emirates Airline

Role: Design and Development.

Description: Apply service charge amount or percentage based on point of

sale, booked RBD and cabin class for each passenger type codes in the

itinerary.

Project: Rapid Reprice - Auto Reprising

Client: Emirates Airline

Role: Design and Development

Description: Rapid Reprice functionality of auto reissuance of tickets was

based the logic of low fare finder concept to attain an optimum leverage of

using this product. This supports Emirates Revenue system and Pricing

system for collecting Additional charges or Refund amount for the reprice

of the new itinerary.

Project: ODS Electronic Ticket Warehouse

Client: Emirates Airline

Role: Architect / Design and Development.

Description: Primary goal of the project is to download all the current E-

ticket information from the existing legacy system to new ticket warehouse.

All the electronic tickets within the system will be downloaded to new

ticket ware house. All the current EK E-tickets present inside the system

will be downloaded to ticket warehouse through single job.

Project: Multiple Selection, Creation and Issuance of EMD (Electronic

Miscellaneous Documents) and MCO (Miscellaneous Charge Order).

Client: Emirates Airline

Role: Architect/Design and Development

Description: Business objective is to drive multiple TSM selection for

modification, payment and issuance through MARS. Using Credit card mode of

payment for all MCOs/EMDs issued for all the Passengers in the PNR

simultaneously boosted Emirates Revenue generation. This is also a step

taken forward for improvement to service; security and it would also ease

the service rendered by the ATO/CTO staff there by increasing customer

satisfaction.

2. Tata Consultancy Services Ltd: (American Express) Aug-2005 to Mar-2008

Developing mission critical Banking applications in Assembler and C on

Transaction Processing Facility in Tata Consultancy Services Ltd, Bangalore

for 2.8 years.

I had worked with 'American Express Technologies Ltd' in the area of World

Wide Credit Authorization System (WWCAS) using TPF Assembler and TPF C/C++

as the development language.

Project: Global limits getCasData service

Client: American Express (World Wide Credit Authorization System)

Role: Developer

Description: GetCasService data application services the XML requests for

credit limit information and updates from the Global Limit Database for the

card numbers. XML data in the request message is parsed and the specified

limit transaction is triggered and the response is put back to MQ.

Project: Loosely coupled display of ACCT and CSDT

Client: American Express (World Wide Credit Authorization System)

Role: Developer

Description: This is a Presentation Services project which displays the

processors ACCT and CSDT table and allows synchronization of data across

processors.

Project: World Wide Credit Authorization System - Coverage

Client: American Express

Being the first and primary point of contact for all issues relating to

Credit authorization System; I was involved in investigation of critical

issues related to Credit Authorization transactions and have provided

logical reasons for the approval or decline of the card member

transactions. I have also worked on issues relating to Authorizer

Assistance, Links, Message Queues, Global Limits, Global Risk Management

Systems, Dynamic Authorization Control and Funds Access System.

As part of WWCAS Coverage, I was involved in Test System Maintenance and

Production system monitoring. Investigated and Fixed numerous CTL and DB

dumps happening in production.
