Personal Statement

I am a very serious, dedicated professional who has over 25 years experience in the

credit and collections field at both the corporate and agency levels. This

experience has enabled me to work well with others in the role as manager as well as

a team player. I am always up to the challenge of learning new facets of the

business world and applying that to my skills and experience. I am looking for a

position that can utilize my strengths and afford me the opportunity to grow.

Commercial Transportation Adjustment Services, Milltown NJ

Director of Operations

General manager and client liaison between a commercial collection agency and its

high profile client. Responsible for the training and development of all personal on

the policies and procedures as related to first party collections as well as the

clients Standard Operating Procedures for collections and accountability.

Effectively controlled costs through the economical utilization of personal,

materials and computer systems. Reported directly to the company president and the

clients' management team.

Skills

My many years of experience enabled me to become very proficient and quickly adapt

to various collection systems and data bases both on the A/R level and the

collection software level. I have also been able to efficiently use the Microsoft

applications of Word, Excel and PowerPoint while creating reports, projections,

evaluation and analysis to management and clients.

During my tenure working for Commercial Transportation we represented many of the

world top shipping lines in the collection of their outstanding invoices for

equipment use as well ocean freight and related charges. It was then that I became

interested in all aspects of International Commerce. I regularly read such

periodicals as the Journal of Commerce, Cargo Business News and American Shipper. I

closely follow current legislation related to the improvement of the

infra-structure, customs regulations and port expansion. Throughout 2009 and 2010 I

participated in several regional Port and Maritime Conferences focusing on the

challenges of today's economy and it's relation to world trade. I also have

extensive knowledge of some of the main regulators of trade and transportation

including The Uniform Inter modal Interchange and Facilities Access Agreement (UIIA)

and The Federal Maritime Commission (FMC).
