Founded and currently run a website development business which provides original
website designs, layout and underlying programming for both large and small company
websites and intranets. I also provide webmaster services for continuing
maintenance of existing websites. Duties include all technical design and support,
strategy, client relations and business development. Company has experienced a high
client retention rate, including many from inception.
Creative Director / IT Support 1996 - 2011
Clear Channel Radio, Harrisonburg, VA
My duties as Creative Director included supervision of all commercial audio
production for six radio stations, writing and producing audio commercials,
assignments to other producers, assistance and support for sales staff, scheduling
& tracking of commercial inventory and radio on-air personality. I also created ads
for print and video media. My IT duties included implementation and management of
data backup and archiving measures, installation of software, maintenance of office
computer network servers and workstations, creation of databases & spreadsheets for
order forms and tracking. I also created and maintained the company intranet
website, used for dissemination of information, links for employee use and tracking
of inventory.
Operations Manager / Creative Director 1984-1996
Prettyman Broadcasting Company, Salisbury, MD
Duties included management of daily radio station operations, supervision of all
audio production and assignment to other producers, management of computer based
automation systems, supervision of on-air staff, on-air personality for radio
morning show. I also had opportunities to design and create newspaper & magazine
ads, billboard campaigns, signage for events and author a weekly newspaper
entertainment column.
