Educational Background
Masters of Science, Electrical and Computer Engineering
Jun 2011
San Diego State University, USA
GPA 3.80
Thesis Work: Cross layer QoS aware schemes for MANET's that aims to achieve
interaction between the MAC and Network layer in sending some important
parameters critical in meeting Quality of service for the protocol.
Additionally analyzed various path maintenance schemes for single path and
multipath routing protocols.

Related Experience
Image Processing Projects: Implemented compression techniques like JPEG on
images and videos using MATLAB. MPEG video compression using different
search techniques using MATLAB.
C and Socket Programming: Established communication between 2 clients and a
server. Client1 sends data to server and server manipulates the data and
sends to client2. The Information can be any character, integer or any
float value. Additionally performed bandwidth estimation at the receiver.
Modem design: Designed a SC-OFDM modulator and demodulator along with an
analysis on channel effect in MATLAB.
Designed a Modified duo binary and Duo binary baseband modems along with
building an Offset QPSK and ?/4-QPSK modulator to encode binary symbols.
High Speed Net Design: Designed an Ethernet convergence layer protocol for
802.11 WLAN in OPNET capable of handling asynchronous prioritized and
isochronous traffic.
Database and Web Programming: Designed a Windows Form Application using C#
which is analogous to Paint and performed IO on different file formats.
Hardware Projects
Microcontroller based 24 hour real time clock using microprocessor using
89s8252 with a 7 segment display.
